Privacy Policy

Free Spider Solitaire provides a browser-based card game and related strategy content. We collect limited information needed to operate, measure, and improve the site.

Information We Collect

We may collect basic usage data such as pages viewed, approximate device and browser information, gameplay events such as game starts or difficulty selection, and referring pages. The game does not require an account.

Analytics and Advertising

On pages other than the embedded game, we may use Vercel Web Analytics and, when configured, Google Analytics to understand page and feature usage. These services may process technical request information as part of providing analytics. We do not make a blanket claim here about every cookie, identifier, or technical data a provider may process. We are not currently serving advertisements. If advertising is introduced, we will update this policy to describe the relevant technology and choices.

Local Browser Data

The game may use your browser to keep the experience responsive and useful between visits. This can include your selected privacy choice, recently played mode, games started, wins, streak, best move counts, and saved in-progress regular games. Saved game data is stored locally in your browser and does not require an account. We do not ask for sensitive personal information to play Spider Solitaire.

Cookie and Privacy Notice

A Google Analytics choice notice is shown only when Google Analytics is configured and you have not made a choice. That choice controls Google Analytics consent settings; it does not disable Vercel Web Analytics on non-embedded pages. You can clear your saved choice and other local site data using your browser controls.

Embedded Game on Other Websites

The game can be embedded on other websites through our embed address. When you play an embedded board, the game runs from freespidersolitaire.org inside a frame on the site you are visiting.

At /embed, our application does not load Google Analytics scripts, render its Vercel page-view analytics component, or send the game's custom gameplay analytics events. The game may use local browser storage for functional game progress and statistics. We are not currently serving ads, including in the embedded game.

This describes analytics behavior in our application; it does not establish that hosting, network, or browser providers process no technical request data or set no cookies. We have not verified those provider-level details and make no claim that such processing is absent.

The privacy notice is not displayed in the embedded game. The website hosting the game is operated independently of us and has its own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Your Choices

You can adjust cookie and tracking preferences in your browser settings. You can also use browser controls to clear local site data, including saved game progress.
