Free Spider Solitaire provides a browser-based card game and related strategy content. We collect limited information needed to operate, measure, and improve the site.

Information We Collect

We may collect basic usage data such as pages viewed, approximate device and browser information, gameplay events such as game starts or difficulty selection, and referring pages. The game does not require an account.

Analytics and Advertising

We may use Vercel Web Analytics to understand anonymous page and feature usage when it is enabled and active. It does not use cookies or collect direct personal identifiers. If enabled later, we may also use analytics tools and advertising partners such as Google AdSense. Those services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure performance, prevent fraud, and personalize or limit ads.

Local Browser Data

The game may use your browser to keep the experience responsive and useful between visits. This can include your selected privacy choice, recently played mode, games started, wins, streak, best move counts, and saved in-progress regular games. Saved game data is stored locally in your browser and does not require an account. We do not ask for sensitive personal information to play Spider Solitaire.

Cookie and Privacy Notice

The site may show a small privacy notice that lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising storage where those services are enabled. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be cleared by deleting local site data.

Embedded Game on Other Websites

The game can be embedded on other websites through our embed address. When you play an embedded board, the game runs from freespidersolitaire.org inside a frame on the site you are visiting.

In the embedded game we load no advertising and no third-party scripts, and no cookies were observed in the embed session we tested. Your browser stores game progress and statistics locally so a game can be resumed, and that data stays in your browser.

We receive usage events that record the event name, the embed page path, and the chosen suit count. We do not intentionally send a name, account identifier, host-page URL, or advertising identifier in embed event data. Our analytics provider may process limited technical request data to operate the service.

Because the embedded game has no advertising and no non-functional tracking, it does not display the privacy notice described above. If advertising or non-functional tracking is ever added to the embedded game, that notice and the relevant choices will be presented there too. The website hosting the embedded game is operated independently of us and has its own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Your Choices

You can adjust cookie and tracking preferences in your browser settings. You can also use browser controls to clear local site data, including saved game progress.
