Instant Play
Start a Spider Solitaire Game in the Browser
The fastest boredom-to-game path is a page that lets you play immediately. This no-download Spider Solitaire page loads the game in the browser, starts with the beginner-friendly 1-suit mode, and lets you switch to harder modes when you want more challenge.
- No app store visit.
- No installer or plug-in.
- No email registration before the first game.
- Desktop, tablet, and mobile browser support.
Mode Choice
Choose 1 Suit, 2 Suits, or 4 Suits
Spider Solitaire players expect mode choice because difficulty changes the whole session. A quick 1-suit game works well for short breaks, 2 suits adds enough friction for strategy, and 4 suits is the full hard version.
- 1 suit: easiest, fastest to learn, best for new players.
- 2 suits: medium difficulty with real suit decisions.
- 4 suits: expert mode with all four suits active.
- Daily challenge: a shared 2-suit deal for repeat visits.
Retention
Saved Progress for Longer Browser Sessions
Spider Solitaire can take longer than a quick Klondike hand, so regular games can save locally after moves. If you leave and return on the same device and browser, you can continue the saved run or discard it for a fresh deal.
- Saved slots are kept per difficulty.
- Daily challenges stay deterministic and are not overwritten by regular saved games.
- Local stats track starts, wins, streak, and best move counts.
- Recently played mode prompts make repeat sessions faster.
Controls
Undo, Hint, Score, Timer, and Full Screen
A strong no-download card game needs enough controls to keep people playing. The game includes undo for recovering from blocked lines, hints for practical next moves, score and elapsed time for session comparison, and full-screen play for larger boards.
- Undo steps back one move and updates score.
- Hint highlights a useful move or points to the stock when no move is practical.
- Score starts at 500, loses 1 per move or undo, and gains 100 per completed suit.
- Double-click auto-move can speed up obvious card moves.
Rules
How the No-Download Game Works
The rules are the same as classic two-deck Spider Solitaire. Build descending card sequences, reveal hidden cards, create empty columns, and complete same-suit runs from King down to Ace. A completed same-suit run clears automatically.
- The game uses 104 cards from two standard decks.
- The tableau starts with 10 columns and 54 dealt cards.
- The stock contains 50 cards and deals one card to every column.
- You cannot deal from the stock while any tableau column is empty.
